The goal
Be the last player with dice. Everyone starts with 5, and you lose one every time you're caught out.
A round
- Everyone rolls in secret. You see only your own dice.
- Players take turns going around the table. On your turn you either raise the bid or call Liar! on the last one.
- A bid is a claim about all the dice on the table, such as "at least seven 4s".
- 1s are wild: they count as whatever face is being bid, except when the bid is on 1s themselves.
Raising
- Bid more dice of any face, or the same number of a higher face. "Five 3s" can become "five 4s" or "six 2s".
- Since 1s are wild, there are fewer of them, so they count double. To switch to 1s, you may halve the number (rounded up): "seven 5s" → "four 1s". To switch away from 1s, bid double plus one: "three 1s" → "seven 4s".
- You can't open a round with a bid on 1s.
Calling Liar!
All cups are lifted and the matching dice counted. If there are at least as many as bid, the caller was wrong and loses a die. If there are fewer, the bidder loses a die. Whoever lost a die starts the next round.

Who you're playing
- Luna, the bluffer: makes bold claims whatever she's holding and rarely calls anyone else a liar.
- Ivy, the cautious one: only bids what her own dice back up, and calls Liar! the moment a bid looks unlikely.
- Rocky, the calculator: works out the odds and also reads the table, assuming people tend to bid faces they actually have.
Rule of thumb
For any face other than 1, about one in three dice you can't see will match (the face itself or a wild 1). For 1s it's one in six. So with 15 hidden dice you'd expect about five matches, plus whatever you're holding.
With "Show the odds" on, the hint under the controls gives the chance that the current bid is true, based only on your own dice.
